Name of Place: Orangia
Geography: Far south of the great white city of Jahata lies a rich Savannah bursting with life know as Orangia by it's native peoples. It is home to many species of animals that are not known to any other area in the world, even Silva has no claim on the incredible variety of life in this area. Divided into 4 main areas, each of which is inhabited by a different tribe or nation, consisting mainly of the: Orengo plains, The Emerald Hills, Nambian Volcano, and the Kadeshi marsh.
The Orengo plains extend the length of this region and mostly consist of a dry and barren Savannah. IT has many different species of four and two legged grazers that are swarming all over the place, but the animals are not all in peace. There are many crazy and dangerous predators that will target anyone or anything, even a careless Immortal that crosses their path.
Far to the south of Orangia lie the Emerald hills. Suprisingly there are no mines in the region as it's remarkably barren, but it has gotten its' name from the sky at twilight. The Sky lights up with colors bursting at it's seams, filled with every shade of green imaginable, but it is said that this is not the real reason it is named. They say that the Emeralites the inhabit the region are in possession of a powerful artifact, one that is the source of the amazing lights that are pictured in the sky each night. Is it real or is it just a myth? You decide?
Rising out of the barren expanse in the middle of the Orengo plain arises the great Nambian Volcano. It has long been dormant and it’s crater, once filled with boiling lava, now is filled to the brim with a lush rainforest and an array of rare and unusual animals that have evolved to meet the unique challenges that face them in this unusual area of land and forest. On the slopes of the mountain/volcano is a chilly arctic atmosphere where snow is present all year long and only the bravest soles can provide, home the strange, Genko, this area is often fraught with danger and is at best avoided.
Stretching along the northern border of the area, the border with the Falcon Empire, stretches the Kadeshi marsh. Beware! The marsh if fraught with danger, filled with great Crokodis and Leviathans, cleverly disguised as every day happenings, it is even cautioned for the Demi-Gods to avoid this area if at all possible. Sitting in the exact center of the Marsh arises a single area of land that is home to the strange and barbaric nation of the Kadeshi, for which the marsh is made.
Climate: The Climate in this region differs strongly depending almost entirely on the area and the elevation of the land. For instance the great Nambian Volcano’s Exterior Mountain slope is in a state of perpetual winter, but the inside crater is a warm tropical area with a huge rainforest inside it. But both of those climates differ greatly from the Orengo plains, whose great size and dry grass makes it very difficult to survive in this harsh desert climate. While the great Kadeshi marsh is scorching hot rivaling the great deserts of Gath, but here the face is attacked ruthlessly by merciless zomb-flies that will often not stop until their unfortunate victim is killed.
People Groups/Race: They tribes in this great region are almost constantly at war with each other due to the intense social prejudices that abound in the region. The Emerald Hill are ruled over by a powerful set of Human natives, similar to pyromancers, but with a deeper connection to nature with the ability to wield all forms of magic.
The Slopes of the Nambian volcano are inhabited by a strange race of half cat half human beings, know as the Dehgans, they are essentially tribal but will join together if the need arouses. With the ability to leap great distances and extend razor sharp claws they area fearsome threat to the enemies, if they dare show their face!
The Kadseshi nation presides over the rest of the land. Believed to be descendents of the ancient dragons that inhabited their land they all have large scaly wings and great spiraling horns. They are extremely vicious and are ruled by a head “horn” as he is called.
Culture: The people and animals of Orangia are some of the most diverse beings known to exist. The region is home mostly to the great Kadeshi Empire. These dragon like beings and excessively cruel and like nothing more that to attack and kill helpless travelers, it is cautioned to always be on your guard whe nearing their lands.
The religion of the Kadeshi is mainly focused around Larantia, the raging goddess of the sea and storm. Believing her to be the “mother of all life” She is excessively worshiped and the elite warriors are known as the storm-bringer. The daily rituals of their rituals are similar to the Muslim way of life, with prayer before entering battle and eating, as well as a town meeting once a day to pronounce the glory of the “Lady of the endless water”.
The Kadeshi are led by a single “Horn” as he is called, they are always ruled by a man believing that women are “compassionate and weak” some of the worst things to be in this nation of cruel torturers, and the “horn” is elected from the princes of the previous “horn” thus ensuring that the best of the royal bloodline continues to rule and that the empire may prosper.
There is not much to say about the Dehgans other than they are a nature loving group praying to Kletcheck before almost every activity. Feroc, the Demi-god of the hunt, is often depicted along with Kletcheck, his mother, for he is usually found in the forest outside of their one and only village along with his faithful servant, the forest spirit, Alyeska.
The Humans of the Emerald Hills, the Emeralites, inhabit several large highly defensible towers along the tallest hills in the region. These are the pioneers of the Pyrian dynasty long forgotten by their mother country they still maintain their devout worship of Firia and Raza, using the same techniques as their now far distant cousins. They have cultivated a strange leadership technique devised by pitting the strongest mage from each separate tower against each other, and the winner is declared the new leader of the Emeralites.
Current Events: At this point in time the Kadeshi are consolidating the forces and have been relatively silent, compared to recent years, though none know of what is causing this, apart from Larantia herself, many are growing worried of a large attack that may sweep away all who stand in their path.
The Emeralites have declared war on the Dehgans after several very special and highly aggressive raids by Dehgan elite warriors.
ok i hope i did this right ;D ;D
