(as my first act of being "back" i shall post, well i hope to post anyway)
A quiet enveloped the normally quiet wood, its silence descending swiftly, gracefully, deathly...the animals, sensing something, began to move. As one, for their lord had returned.
A quiet glade they were drawn too, its presence never felt before. One by one, they dropped their head's. Deer, Squirrel,Badger, Owl, Fox, Tiger, Panther, Hawk, Eagle...all stood in attendance...save one...They stood together at the edge of the glade, row upon row, tail upon shoulder. Mouths bared in a silent growl...warning...waiting...he would not disappoint
Like death he descended from the heavens, his entrance marked by thunder, his fury cooled by the earth. Lightning split in the sky in streaks, its bloody trail swiftly vanquished by the maelstrom that was the sky. As amazingly spectacular as it was, what stood upon the now raised platform in the center of the children of the moon(new name ^^) was even more glorious.
With but a nod his follower's melted away, leaving the glade all but empty, 4 creatures, its only occupants.
"Shivar, Nicco" Growled the newly returned lord of the wilds. "Amamn has awakened, the time of the hunt is fast approaching"
Shivar, a small Grey wolf but 2nd in command to Lord Feroc himself, or well actually 3rd if Amamn was reawakening, just bowed his head. The hunt was his life, or had been, until fates cruel grip, or actually some god but he forgot which, had turned Amamn from the joy of the children, to the cause of the anger of his lord.
Nicco on the other hand, a handsome white wolf, strong and majestic, nearly shattered the heaves with his cry of joy. Amamn his life, his duty, his love...was coming back. Nodding his thanks to lord Feroc, wolfs didn't need a lot of expressions, he turned and hurried away. The moon guard had to be reinstated, they had not been needed in recent years as Lord Feroc was more than capable of handling himself, but Lady Amamn was more...gentle.
Feroc, now that his lieutenants were gone, let out a small sight of contentment. It was good to be home. His last time here had been much too long ago, he need some good old fashion Pyrian Killing. And the hunt always needed new members.

((I dunno, but I ship Feroc/Nocturne ever since I first saw 'em.
Also, it is Amamn, Amamni or Amam? I've seen all three. Or I think I have. *is an idiot*))
There was a soft rush of wings, and a white shape hurtled to the ground. The falcon's shape wavered, then shifted into that of an eeriely beautiful woman, with white wings tumbling down her back.
Keen blue eyes surveyed the clearing thoughtfully, before focusing on Feroc.
"Hello." Keyiarathanas greeted him. "It's been quite a while, hasn't it?"
This might be an important occassion, but Keyi wouldn't be herself if she didn't start with formalities and pleasantries.
Amamn. News travelled fast among the immortals, especially when lightning that rent the sky and left a maelstrom behind.
Keyi hadn't known Amamn that well, but Kiyah had. Hence, why Keyi was here. If Amamn could come back, what about Kiyah...?
Far ahead, a small, quick magpie soared off, shaken and distraught, to report to his master, the Lord of Vengeance.

(Well Amamn is the white wolf, feroc's sister, Amamni i believe i posted somewhere a long long time ago was a "Honor-guard" of sorts for her, Coincidently, I need some to RP Amamn, since she's all happiness and calm...i'm a little violent.)
Feroc tilted his head at the newcomer, Keyiarathanas, the white falcon, mistress of Jahata and Demi-god of Control. Also one of the few Demi's that the lord of the hunt didn't attack on sight...partly because of the whole turn into a bird thing, and partly cause she was so much fun to kill Pyrians with...
"Keyi" he replied, his heavy voice seeming to echo across the air. "yes it has been along time..."
His voice trailed off as he spotted something, small and winging away from their clearing fast, quite fast...too fast in fact for a normal bird to fly. That raised his ears. There was only a select few who would dare send in birds to the lair of the beast, and one of those was already here.
" I do believe the lord of "oh so righteous vengeance" will be joining us shortly" he murmured..almost too himself. No doubt the buffoon that was Raza would feel slighted on not being the judge of his sister's return.

((Thanks a bunch. And Raza might want to torture a little birdie here! immortaldude.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=angelicpub&action=display&thread=913))"In that case, I shall be gone soon." Keyi responded. Raza had no love for her, and the feeling was mutual. After a few too many run-ins with demis eager to destroy Silva, Keyi had taken on a neutral stance towards it. After all, if the Life Tree was felled, more of the mortals would be dependent on her for magic. She tilted her head, staring at the dark shape that was almost out of sight already. "One of the Lightning Lord's magpies, no doubt. Although word had probably reached him already. Why he uses his birds, I have no idea." She mused. "I will be brief then." Keyi looked straight at Feroc, her icy blue eyes unfathomable. "Tell me, Lord of the Hunt, is it true? Amamn, she has returned? Will be returning?"

Feroc smiled coldly as he regarded the white falcon. He knew she wasn't particularly inclined to stay around and chat with Raza...after all hadn't he been killing falcons for years now? For some reason, he didn't like the birds, strange seeing that the rest of his minions were birdies...oh well no one ever said the gods were "normal"
"My sister....Amamn will be returning. She has been locked in a state of sleep when the Pyro-mancers first began their work here. She has been attempting to plead with the forest spirit's to grant me aid here on the mortal plain." The lord of the hunt replied to the falcons question. Waving his tale across the forest around him he spoke again. " The children of the moon owe their lives to her, most of them are spirits themselves. Almost all of the original animals have been killed by now. So yes she is returning...though i don't know why.." He stopped...he sensed another prescense...one that should not be here.
Lightning split the sky, charring the earth where it landed. The fury of the tempest was soon spent though...revealing the maker of the fury to not be a God...for if it was Raza who had made the sky rend as such the two immortals on the ground would of likely not survived...well not without many injuries at least. No the cause of the storm was already well away...using the power of the lightning he had conjured to speed away from the gathering grounds. Flammen knew when he was caught...but he had already heard plenty of information....none of it good for the war effort, that he was desperately trying to rekindle.

Keyi sensed the presence also, and immediately knew who was there. The combined feel of lightning and fire was unique, and made the person obvious.
"Flammen. It's been a while as well." She greeted him, refusing to be ruffled. "How do things go with your mother?"
Inwardly, however, Keyi prepared to take flight. Flammen couldn't kill her without a god's permission, but no doubt he would get it from someone like, say, Malar.
And even if he couldn't kill her, those fire magicks of his sure hurt.

Flammen let out a smile as he regarded the falcons words. So childish, still throwing around her words. He had long ago figured it out. Words didn't hurt, not even their meaning hurt. Fire, and lightning, especially lightning, hurt...really hurt. He may not be the master of pain, but he was a damned good student anyhow.
Not wasting energy, or time on petty words, he began casting a spell. His hands began to glow softly at first, but then with increasing intensity, their harsh blue glows spilling over the clearing....but then they stopped! a perfectly formed azure dome was around the immortals. Lightning streaked across its surface, and flames licked at its base.
Now a genuine smile crept across the Demi-gods lips, "Keyi, nice to see you, welcome" Waving his hands together, the dome began to slowly receded in size. Now it probably wouldn't kill the demis, but it could trap them in smaller and smaller particles for all eternity

Keyi sighed quietly, looking at the dome. Flammen always was the crude, destructive one. Some things never changed. One would have thought that converting to Malar's side then going back to Firia's would have taught Flammen some caution, but no...
With a slight shrug, Keyi simply teleported out of the dome. In the blink of an eye, a white falcon winged, far above the tops of the trees.
Flammen, I believe it is I who should be welcoming you. You are the newcomer here, after all. Keyi's 'voice' was faint, barely heard. The falcon dipped once in farewell, before flying off.
Keyi had no desire to be killed just to stroke Flammen's ego. Or trapped in smaller and smaller particles for all eternity, which was just as bad.
~~~
There was another flash of lightning, and the form of a huge, tall warrior appeared, more lightning crackling behind him. An equally huge claymore was held in one hand, with light shining from the blade.
Jutaris smirked at the other two.
Malar, Firia and Raza. All three who opposed each other, but watched over the Pyrians, with the destruction of Silva as their ultimate goal.
This promised to be interesting.
