Moi, being the gigantor nerd that I am, and come across several species in my readings and card playings that I love. So I'm going to through them at you and hope that their fondness for brains earns your love, too...
So, to begin my ever growing list, I will name a creature that belongs wholeheartedly in Kestas: The Illithids. The I'llithids are basically a parisite that takes over a huminoid's body, alters its DNA and it biological composition, and then goes around controlling the minds of everything around it while looking for good hosts for its offspring. Although the host begins as huminoid, once this creature gets inside it, almost everything changes; The appearance of an adult Illithid with a host is quite odd: a bulbus head, bulging eyes, rubbery skin, and a mass of tenticles where the mouth once was. Illithids are incredably intellegent, and comunicate exclusively by telepathy, which they also use to control inferior races, which includes everything that is not an illithid. They serve Vera exclusively, although Keyi has been for quite some time trying to set up some sort of worship among them, seeing how they make Falcons seem as innocent and gullible and unmanipulating as kittens. They are extremely communist in their society, with everything being shared for the greater good of the Illithids, with one exception: The mother brain. The mother brain in basically a giant brain from which every Illithid is spawned, to which every Illithid and every mind slave of the Illithids is bonded, and for which any Illithid or mind slave would do anything. It's confort and happiness are the foremost concern of each illithid city, as when it is happy, they all are. In battle, they tend to numb your mind, or fill it with excruciating pain, or just take it over completely while contemplating whether you would be more use to the Illithids as a mind slave or if it would be ok just to lock its tenticles onto your face and rip your brain out for nurishment. They don't use magic, precisely, but have honed their mental abilities to where they can achieve things to rival magic, such as teleportation, or wlking through solid walls, or tearing something completely apart with only a thought.
