Name of Plane: Nephaestius
Geography: The first impression one gets is a city of towers, tall, short, swirly, straight, collapsed and everything else you can imagine. The city is known as Nephae. When one looks closely though, one would see that patches of nature could be found inside the maze of tower. Deserts, oceans, forests...The list stretches on and on.
When one looks even closely, they would notice that a mist of silver and gold seem to surround everything. If they look even closer, they may or may not see that nothing stays the same in Nephaestius and Nephae. The towers warp. They sometimes disappear altogether, and may or may not reappear. The forests become deserts in the space of a few seconds, and then shift into a vast ocean. After that, they may turn into yet another patch of towers.
Nothing is predictable in Nephaestius. Nothing stays the same. Day can turn into night without twilight. There may be two suns and five moons at night.
Climate: It varies. The temperature usually remains fairly constant in Nephae, leaning slightly towards the cool side. But in the patches that were not towers, the weather is impossible to predict. You may get a normal, sweltering hot desert, or you may get a desert that's even colder than Jahata.
Type of Plane: Chaotic
Principal Deities: None. There have been rumours of a mysterious entity known as 'The Whisper' or 'The Whisperer' that has its home in Nephaestius, but that's just it. Rumours and whispers, with no solid fact.
Other things: Perhaps demis would find this plane pleasant to visit, especially the chaotic ones. But be warned. Few things of magical nature work correctly in Nephaestius. In fact, it was created by magic gone awry.
But aside from that, it's still a nice place for a chaotic plane, especially since there's little chance of a god or goddess coming to devour your heart.
Of course, there's always the danger of being warped away to who knows where...
People Groups: The whole population is made entirely out of mages. Good mages, neutral mages, evil mages, renegade mages...All of the races that have even the slightest magical inclination are represented here. But how did they get here in the first place?
The answer is actually quite simple. A teleportation spell gone wrong has a high chance of transporting one here. But the catch? One can't get back to their own world and/or plane again.
So here they are doomed to continue their studied, in a place where magic that goes right is a miracle...
