Now that was quite an offense to Ksia, who only responded,"Ah, but there you are wrong. Mine came from auntie Lang, so it is guaranteed to have some tricks up its, um... silver." She was just making that up, but she couldn't let him know, so she quickly and secretly enchanted it to be able to talk and gave it killer copy cat killing instincts, then whispered to it that the other silver bauble was just a fake (which it was, but Ksia didn't know that), at which it muttered a curse then pounced and ate the other bauble, after which it looked quite full and pleased with its self. Ksia had a similar expression on her face, but without the full part. She was quite hungry, in fact, and was even contemplating eating her silver bauble. She would have if she wasn't worried about it eating its way out of her, but you win some and you lose some.
A few seconds later it occured to her that she was a demigoddess, so she broke off the branch of a nearby tree, turned it to chocolate, and began hapily munching on that while still talking about how amazing her silver bauble was and she even offered them a few leaves of said chocolate, although the eating part made it sound a bit like,"Nom nom nom nom!"
It was ok, though. It was good chocolate, so they should excuse her.

"Good girl, Ksia!" Lang smiled indulgently at the young demigoddess, while shooting a scorching glare at O'Remh simultaneously. Evil little demigod of change; trying to sway Ksia away from her. Well, it would be a change. But she and Ksia spent little enough time together as it was.
"Hungry?" She asked, continuing to walk. "There's food at the party, Ksia, don't worry. Take what you like."
Her smile widened further. "Unless you want me to get something for you?"

O'Remh cuckled as Ksia's bauble came to life and ate his. "Nope you're right, mine can't beat that," he said. "Yours is the best!" He ignored the chocolate though and was inwardly amused at Lang's glare. The child had delayed him long enough. He had a feeling something was going to happen at the party and he wanted to see it happen.
At the moment Lang started talking about food at the party Rem's stomach growled and he smiled with amusement. "I know I'm definitely hungry thank you Lang. Now if you don't mind can we get walking again?"

Ksia hadn't had any clue they were going to a party, so she was slightly irked that they ruined the surprise, seeing how a surprise party is a bazillion times better than a normal one, but a party is a party and she coulded hardly contain her excitement seeing how not only was it a party, but also a party with Lang, who always made even the most boring, dry parties 'intresting.' So she completely forgot bauble and chocalate while asking excitedly,"A party?! Where?! When?! With who...?"
With that last question she reallized that not only were they in a palace-ish place, which tend to be world reknowned for the dry-ness of their parties, but also they where quite Farain missing, so the party would stay dry until auntie Lang finally got around to spicing things up, and there was no telling how long that would take. Ksia might have to call in some friends... (((Muahahahahahaha)))

"Party's in the big tree Ksia," Rem answered offhandedly. His interest in the child had been brief and now it was gone. His main interest was back and he began walking again, without bothering to see if the annoying pair of hangers-on were following him. He carried himself majestically and he strode into the vast ballroom with a grace that only a warrior had.
Centaurs were just as interspersed throughout the crowd as elves and Rem no sooner mingled with the crowd than he'd become a centaur version of his current form. Within minutes he'd reverted to an elf again and chatted kindly to his fellow partygoers. From what he could see, nothing special seemed to be happening yet.

Lang sauntered gracefully after Rem, a smirk on her lips. Interesting one, that O'Remh. "I wonder, does he ever get tired of shapeshifting?" She asked, with a laugh. Obviously not, since he was the demigod of change.
"Hey, Ksia, any idea of what to do to brighten this dull, dull party up?" Lang craned her neck to look up at the girl. Well, Silvan parties never were boring, but still. Especially when immortals gatecrash. But said immortals should do their bit for the world and spice it up.

Ksia hadn't gotten that far in her planning, but, having been put in the spotlight, so to speak, she said the first thing that came to mind,"Maybe we could summon Comenian, and have him start eating various party goers. That should bring Frackleth in, 'cause having extra dead to deal with tends to make him grumpy, and then Farrain might show up just to annoy Old Uncle Freckles, and there's no telling what would happen from there. Power attracts power, so we might end up with the whole family here." The thought made Ksia laugh sweetly, because big parties were always fun with the various factions of immortals 'playing' with each other in the form of slinging lightning and other sparkly deaths.
It was so fun a thought that she was just contemplating screaming "Comenian!" at the to of her longs. And her lungs had a very lofty top.

"Aww....Ksia, your ideas get better and better." Lang crooned, sauntering to the table. "Oh, no, maybe I should go somewhere else, if you are calling Comenian in." She stepped away, towards O'Remh.
"I do hope you wouldn't mind, Rem." Lang half-shrugged, her customary smirk on her face. "I don't see why you would, considering that you are the demigod of change and all. There shouldn't be any....uh....world-changing business going on here that I should be aware of, yes?"

Rem turned to the girls with an expression of indifference. "I don't care, though you two might want to be careful with tricks." That was all he said and he was gone, changed yet again into another elf child with darker hair and looking about Ksia's physical age.
He wandered through the hall in various shapes finally returning to the elven warrior he'd been when he entered the hall. Really he was just waiting to see what kind of entertainment the girls could whip up, though he might create some of his own as well pendiing how things went.

"Awww....why would we be careful? You of all people should appreciate it if we bring some....chaos....hmm?" Lang's eyes sparkled mischeviously. "It isn't like there's anything world-shattering happening here."
She waved a hand languidly. "Unless there's something you neglected to tell me?" She raised an eyebrow expectantly. "You never explained why you chose this particular party to attend."
