Long ago, or possibly far into the future, or in an alternate dimension, a sentient mortal was jettisoned by one of the mortal's plane's gods (something about proving that mortals shouldn't be gods) into an empty void and given omnipotency. Unfortunately, he or she or it did not recieve omnisciency, though this mortal of an unknown species was very wise. This creature decided to make a system of omniscient gods and demigods to govern the universe of mortals she was about to create.
This world she created was precisely like the standard Tolkienesque fantasy universe, with magic, humans, dwarves, elves and everything else. Here you rpg as immortal people who prod mortals in every which direction, depending on the god they are aligned with, whether they are good, neutral, or evil, or how just plain mischevious they are.
At the moment, all is not well in Silva. The Pyrian Dynasty is slowly advancing on the primordial wilderness of indescribable natural beauty and complexity. They see it as a bunch of trees and bugs that need to die. Needless to say, the elves are not happy about this. If only they could stop partying long enough to fight back.
Meanwhile, in Draco, a revolution begins anew. The Aeronite Theocracy, ruled for ages by the powerful dragon overlords, has begun slipping down the slope of pride. Confident in their own power, they don't realize their peril from all sides. From the north, advancing tides of the cold weather minotaurs have caught sight of the rugged mountains, rich in gold, gems, and other such wealth. From the East, the Pyrian Dynasty has decided to expand its empire into other places than Silva, growing all the while.
On a less mortal plane, meanwhile, the gods Raza and Malar have grown tired of constantly rubbing shoulders with each other. One a god of Holy Vengeance, the other of Incomprehensible Pain, they have long hated each other. Malar's forceful liason on Raza's wife Grangria is brought up more and more often, whilst Farain, the youngest son, gathers a fanatical following behind his youth, beauty, and immorality.

New Updates:
Tempers flare now as Shata, daughter of Frackleth the God of Death was killed by Raza. Now is not a time for Razan to go to him for favours. However, there is much arguing between Frackleth and Malar over Shata's son, Mitsir. Frackleth has also adopted a daughter, Kythela. - arrasailsup
The number Malar's allies continue to rise as demis flock to his side. It seems that Silva's destruction is inevitable... - arrasailsup
Much to the dismay of demis, there is now a Grand Colosseum, and lots of fun events to volunteer for. Vera and Frackleth seem to be writing up a script for a play, so now is probably a good time to practice your acting skills. - arrasailsup

The elemental goddesses gather, possibly to fight Malar, and possibly to fight each other. Who knows what will happen when the raw elements of the world meet? - Farain

The demigods, restless, have decided to invade the other planes. However, the immortals of those planes have begun mounting defenses, and it remains to be seen whether or not the demigods will be able to conquer the so-called inferior planes.
Meanwhile, tempers flare with the death of Shata, the death god's favorite daughter, at the hands of Raza, god of vengeance. Malar, the god of pain, is attempting to lay claim to Shata's son, which Frackleth is against.
The number of Malar's allies continue to rise as demis flock to his side. It seems that Silva's destruction is inevitable, and there are signs that he has an even more ambitious goal in mind.

Welcome to Meddling Immortals, the site about messing with those puny little mortals. We're leaner, greener, and nicer than ever.
In a world inhabited by powerful immortal beings, sometimes it seems that getting on their good side is the only thing an intelligent mortal can do. Well, wrong. Frankly, mortals had better hide, because the universe just got a whole lot bigger. Recently, through magical looking glasses, wizards have discovered that the far away objects that they had believed were far away suns were, in fact, nothing of the kind. As it turned out, they were gigantic breathing holes into a light filled plane, or, perhaps, an in-between plane.
Some demis found this fascinating, and set out to explore this new place, and, to their surprise, discovered that inside an incomprehensibly large and small space, there were millions of other planes, entire universes that they had never seen before. Despite their weakening power, they explored these planes briefly, finding new worlds of dazzling complexity.
But that wasn't all.
For every plane had it's own Pantheon, from Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice in Lluftion to the incredibly advanced Erutuion-trikai technologically reinforced super-rich Mortal-Gods. And, as you can imagine, the intrusions of immortals from another plane did not go unnoticed. The residents reacted with hostility, driving the few explorers from their realms and all but destroying others. Their return to their own plane left the demi-gods shaken, but full of knowledge, imparted to their separate patrons.
The call for invasion suddenly appears among the gods, calls to conquer other planes and form an interdimensional empire as the multiverse has never seen. Will the squabbling gods unite to fight? Or will they continue on against each other as they have for countless millennia?

Welcome to Meddling Immortals, the site for (role-)playing gods. We're leaner, greener, and nicer than ever. Now is a better time than five minutes ago to join, because the fun's just getting started.
Malar, without warning, appears to have vanished. Some suspect he may be hiding in the dream world or the Aethers, or perhaps even hiding in plain sight. And who ascended a demi-goddess of fashion, anyway?
The uproar over the discovery of other planes has died down, and as the dust settles, things have changed. Malar's conquest of the world has halted completely, stopped in it's tracks by the sheer scale of it all. The gods' alliances drop like a tightrope between a pair of collapsing buildings.
It's suspected that Silva's regrowth will begin now, with the withdrawal of the strongest faction against it. Klecheck has been said to herself bless the centaur's guerrilla assaults on New Kasai. Farain's Silviv parties are once again regaining fervor. But these are merely cosmetic changes, a simple sign of momentous events that are soon to begin.
